Jennifer L. Stone, OD

Dr. Jennifer L. Stone is new to the Baltimore area and has recently joined Dr. Robin. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Michigan State University, with a Bachelor's of Science in Human Biology. Dr. Stone completed her Doctor of Optometry training at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. She has received numerous awards for her scholastic and clinical achievements, which most recently included the Varilux Scholarship, Alcon Clinical Excellence Award and the American Academy of Optometry Travel Grant Fellowship Award.

Dr. Stone served as an Ocular Disease resident at the Baltimore VA Hospital. During that time, she also trained under clinical faculty from the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the sub-specialties of Glaucoma, Retina, Cornea, LASIK surgery and specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Stone is currently active in investigating difficulties with eye medications and how it affects compliance in glaucoma patients, through a supported clinical research study. Jennifer and her husband, Adam, have recently traveled to Madurai, India to teach and assist in developing a new optometry and low vision curriculum for the Aravind Eye Hospitals, the largest self-sufficient eye care system in the world.
